Illinois Republican state representative candidate Jim Moynihan went to vote Monday at the Schaumburg Public Library. “I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Moynihan said. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”Transparency in government...right?! At a time when we are concerned about Ebola, ISIL and a whole alphabet soup of other crises which assail us, we have to...once again...worry about the "Lawless Left" rigging our national elections. Dissonance and incongruity...not to mention fraud...are the part and parcel of any democrat issue one would care to mention. When caught doing their gerrymandering, out struts a pavonine mouth who...the left hopes...can explain away their latest attempt to rig elections as some benign "glitch" over which they had no control. To dissect the incident in Illinois, it speaks to the fact that the left has so low an opinion of "the people" that they believe that the typical voter won't be cognizant enough to ascertain that their vote went to the opposite party. To boil that down...it means that the left thinks the voting public is inherently stupid, clearly too dumb to realize they're being duped.Visualize, if you will, the following scenario taking place in Chicago at a pre-election meeting of the Election Committee...Committee Chairman: "As you all know, we are at 'ground zero' in the national effort to make sure the Conservatives lose."I.S. Team Leader: "We have this well in hand, Mr. Chairman. We have calibrated our voting machines to change a 'right' vote to a 'left' vote."Committee Chairman: "That could be dangerous. A small percentage of these idiots can read!"I.S. Team Leader: "We've covered that eventuality. We'll just call it a calibration 'glitch'. No one will be clever enough to tie us to an attempt to fraud."And call it a 'glitch' they did. Cook County Board of Elections Deputy Communications Director Jim Scalzitti, told Illinois Watchdog, the machine was taken out of service and tested. “This was a calibration error of the touch-screen on the machine,” Scalzitti said. “When Mr. Moynihan used the touch-screen, it improperly assigned his votes due to improper calibration.”Scalzitti stressed that at no time were Moynihan’s votes actually registered, and that voters are always asked to make sure the votes they cast are correct before they are counted. Scalzitti praised Moynihan for checking his ballot and alerting the election judge of the machine’s failure as, under his breath, he called Moynihan a "know it all S.O.B.".Such are the tactics we have come to expect from the left. It is a political party which is based on corruption and skullduggery and will use any means necessary to further its scurrilous aims.It is rumored that the probable winner of the "Liar's Club" annual contest is the phrase "Democrat politicians are honest people." The runner-up is "Obama never tells a lie."My personal litmus test for politicians...especially the left...is "if it looks like crap and smells like crap, it is certainly crap and likely came from the left".Jim Morris
