I interviewed a small group of LGBT folks
yesterday and was amazed in an aspect of their lack of reason...read
"knowledge". One of the questions I posed was "what would happen to the LGBT
community if Sharia law came to be the law of the land in the United States".
They all agreed that the U.S. would be a better place to live. I informed them
that they would be one of the first Sharia targets if Sharia law came to pass.
They didn't know that Muslims executed gays and lesbians. Yet we are permitting
these same uninformed people to influence our laws and legislation. It is the same with the so-called atheist
minority. Roughly 2% of the population is influencing our laws and our Military:
In the federal government's latest crackdown on faith-based
organizations having anything to do with the United States military, many
children were disappointed when the soldiers they were looking forward to
honoring were told they couldn't step foot inside their church.
After planning to be saluted by boys and
girls at Bible Baptist Church in Carthage, Missouri, members of the Missouri
National Guard were soon forced to cancel their visit in accordance with federal
policy, which reportedly forbids members of the military from associating with
churches in order to avoid the appearance of sponsoring such faith-based
organizations. This is not a rare occurrence when it comes
to Christianity and the military."Whether it's erasing a Bible verse on a white
board or the banning of pocket-sized Gideon Bibles from an Air Force base, our
military service members, under the Obama administration, have experienced an
unprecedented rise in the suppression of their religious speech," said Family Research Council president
Tony Perkins. "Members of the Missouri National Guard are now finding out that
even associating with church members is enough to trigger a secularist
clampdown."But...the beat goes on even if the
legislation doesn't. There are over 300
pieces of legislation, many of them bipartisan, waiting on Senate action.
Legislation to secure our border, balance the budget, lower energy costs and so
many other issues facing our country today. But, after leading the least
productive Senate in American history, Harry Reid has decided that they deserve
a five-week vacation. ERGO...the Senate
being on vacation means absolutely nothing because they haven't been doing a
damn thing anyway. But while these people vacation, Hamas is busy spending their
U.S. funded money and materials building tunnels and procuring weapons to use
against Israel. Many of the tunnels are extremely sophisticated,
with concrete linings, electricity, telephone lines and electric lights. They
are dug as deep as 90 feet below the surface and can contain offshoots that
extend in many directions with multiple exits and entry points. Some of the
command bunkers that protect Hamas leaders from Israeli retaliation for their
rocket terrorism are equipped with water, toilets and sewage lines. This is made
possible by our government. The total number is unknown, probably even to
Hamas, because other terrorist organizations and smuggling rings independently
dig tunnels. The Israelis have found at least 36 tunnels running into Israel –
and even this may be an underestimation.
Hundreds more are believed to have been built underneath Gaza’s border with
Egypt. The “offensive tunnels” are used to move Hamas
commandos under the border to launch terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians
and military attacks against Israeli soldiers. In 2006, Hamas militants used a
tunnel to launch a surprise attack that captured an Israel soldier, Gilad
Shalit, who was held as a hostage for five years before being exchanged for over
one thousand Palestinian prisoners. Some of the Palestinians killed after
exiting tunnels were found to be
carrying handcuffs and tranquilizers, indicating that they hope to seize another
Israeli hostage and the current administration has enabled them!Tunnels also are used to store weapons and
ammunition, protect Hamas personnel and provide fortified underground launching
pads for firing rockets at Israel.Hamas also uses tunnels to
smuggle arms, including sophisticated Iranian rockets, into
Gaza from Egypt. Tunnels also are used to smuggle people, contraband and
consumer goods into Gaza. Hamas owns many of these smuggling tunnels, from which
it makes tremendous profits, and also runs a protection racket in which it
“taxes” goods smuggled through tunnels owned by other Palestinian
groups.Ray, a member of the VetNet observed, "all those
millions and millions that Obama has given Hamas is probably being used for the
tunnel construction. After all, they did say the tunnels were more important
than infrastructure. So...our own government is assisting Hamas build the damn
tunnels. All I can say is...God will have the last say in this and all matters."
And all of this happens while our legislators
become more and more polarized. This may be evidenced by Nancy Pelosi's
infantile spectacle in Congress this past week. But then, Nancy is a very
disturbed person. Prior to this administration, our Congress people and Senators
treated each other with a certain level of respect. This no longer exists. And
it has spilled over into the citizenry. I fear we are approaching a point where
the "cold " civil war which is now extant in our society will
heat up to the boiling point. I believe this is exactly what Obama is trying to
bring about. If you would tell me that my belief is treasonous, I would reply
that my belief is treason reacting to treason. --Thomas Paine, in his "The
American Crisis, No. 1, 1776" said it best..."It is the
madness of folly, to expect mercy from those who have refused to do justice; and
even mercy, where conquest is the object, is only a trick of war; the cunning of
the fox is as murderous as the violence of the wolf.""What country can preserve its liberties, if their rulers
are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms." --Thomas Jefferson, Letter to William Stephens
